Gambier is being imported into India mainly from Indonesia. Other importing countries are Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. Small quantities are also being exported to the Middle East market.
Qualities :
Well dried with Maximum moisture 13-14%, catechin content 40%- 90% can made by request. For Quality or shape also can made by request, Other qualities available, which command a premium quality in the market.
Packing :
Gambier is normally packed in double bags, inside being Plastic PP bag and outside Jute Gunny bags. The Net weight per bag is 50 KG.
Quantity Per Container:
20" Container: 11-12.5 MT approximately.
40" Container: 22-24.5 MT approximately.
